Using Home Monitoring as a Guest
Hestiaa lets you access Home Monitoring in guest mode without signing in to an account. Guest mode is designed for viewing and switching between paired cameras.
Step 1: Continue as a guest
Open the Hestiaa app.
On either the Sign In or Sign Up screen, select Continue as a guest.
Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
Step 2: Select the Viewer role
When prompted to select a device role, choose Viewer to use this smartphone to view your paired cameras.
Follow the setup instructions displayed in the app.
Step 3: Grant the required permissions
If Hestiaa requests permissions during setup, follow the instructions shown in the app to continue.
Step 4: View your paired cameras
Once setup is complete, open the All Cameras screen.
This screen displays the cameras paired with your viewer device.
Tap a camera to open its live feed.
Step 5: Switch between cameras
If multiple cameras are paired with your viewer device, return to the All Cameras screen and select another camera to view its live feed.
Repeat this process whenever you want to switch between your paired cameras.
What can you do in guest mode?
Guest mode is view-only. You can:
- View the live feed from a paired camera.
- Switch between cameras paired with your viewer device.
Other actions are not available in guest mode.
